Hi and welcome to casa35creative.

She taught art at the college level, co-director of an art gallery, and co-curated the very successful art exhibition, “Clouds.” She holds degrees from the University of Washington (BFA) and City University (MBA). Somerville-Loomis retired from the Boeing Company as a Leadership Coach.
“Creativity is not meant to provoke a literal interpretation, rather a subtle recognition in the viewer. An embodiment of the growth cycles, spirit development and refinement of self. My philosophy is best captured in a quote from J. Ruffles: ‘I find the description ‘glass-artist’ amusing—it implies you are an artist made of glass. And glass is only about 25% of what I do. My art is thinking.’”

“I endeavor to produce work
reflective of my appreciation and need for mystery, discovery, beauty, and
humor. Fresh perspectives, literal, symbolic, and metaphorical, provide the raw
material for creativity. Artistic output—creativity expressed—can (and should!)
generate ongoing insights far beyond initial exposure and interpretation."
